Aerial view of Gantheaume Point and Cable Beach Broome

Joining a local broome tour provides greater insight into the town’s history, natural environment and local culture. And if you’ve ever heard the locals quip ‘We live by the tides in Broome.’ We do. Many of the iconic activities, especially those involving the beach or water, require optimum tide levels to succeed.

And, let’s not forget the famous Staircase to the Moon phenomenon. The Staircase to the Moon happens 2 – 3 days a month between March and October. Many visitors plan their trip to Broome to coincide with this unique event where the full moon rises over the low tide exposed mud flats of Roebuck Bay.

Here at AOC, we’re passionate about ensuring all guests to Broome have a wonderful time and enjoy learning about our unique natural environment.
