I have been on two tours with AOC and found them to be very professional and helpful. From being picked up from my accommodation, cleanliness of the boat and knowledge that the staff impart.

Humpback whale and Manta Ray sightings and the sunsets just kept giving. The crew from AOC made our time with them ‘Broome magical’.
First time whale watching and didn’t disappoint. The crew were great. Very informative. Arvo tea and drinks were great.
Had a fabulous cruise and saw plenty of snub nosed dolphins. Tour guide Kate was lovely and the skipper was friendly once he got off the phone. Obviously know where to find the wild life. Nice snacks and a good bar on board.

Started off with a 0715 pick up from our accommodation, then at the ramp by 0800. We for onto the water rather quickly after a lovely safety demonstration.
The skipper was full of wisdom in regards to the local waterways and conservation of local marine life, which was easy to be heard by multiple speakers throughout the boat. We were lucky enough to see just under a dozen dolphins, a couple of sea snakes, flat back turtles, a few swimmer crabs, and a beautiful 3m mantaray. Honestly, it’s worth doing; I would say if you are short on time but want to see the beautiful local sea fauna, as someone who’s done a fair few tours in Broome, this would be one of my top recommendations.
Boom net was great fun, FYI that kids must be accompanied by a guardian whilst in the net; so parents bring your swimmers!
The staff were amazing, super lovely taking photos for families and couples of their little adventure. Plenty of food provided with a bar available, even catering to vegetarian/dietary restricted guests without prior notice of the cruise. There is plenty of shaded area and seating both on the upper & lower deck. The toilet was clean, easy to use, and well ventilated with prompting for those not used to boat loo’s. I did notice that a few individuals with dexterity/strength issues struggled with the boat transfers and boom net access, but that is a given when in the ocean. There are plenty of handrails for those who need it.

The Sunset (Whale Watching) Cruise with Absolute Ocean Charters was the best I’ve been on and made our family holiday to Broome so memorable.
We loved hearing the marine biologist’s interesting talks, listening to the gentle giants sing their whale song via the hydraphone and see them splash and play about.
The crew were friendly, professional and welcoming.
We could move all around the boat, there was plenty of room.
The snacks were delicious and loved that we could byo drinks. We felt right at home.
We will remember this amazing family adventure for years to come!
Loved our sunset snubfin dolphin cruise. Were lucky enough to see many of the dolphins, unfortunately not super close but close enough to see them! Softdrinks provided and a few canapes. Plenty of space on board despite there being close to 30 of us. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly.
Went on a sunset whale watching tour with AOC a few weeks ago and it was amazing! Saw more whales than I could ever have imagined in three hours and were told some great facts/information about whales by Amy the marine biologist. The whole team were super helpful and lovely and you could tell they really enjoyed their job. Wonderful value for money and the highlight of my Broome trip!

First hooked up with AOC in May 2021 on our 3 week trip to Broome. We had the best day out fishing and we do love our charters so booked again for November! Went out last week & heading out again tomorrow …. can’t wait to see what we hook up 😉😁 Everything about AOC is top notch, the crew are professional, responsive & fun, we were moved around as needed to stay on the fish & everyone hooked up!! Everything about AOC from doorstep pickup & drop off to the food, the gear, the professionalism, the fun & the fish is second to none! We will be back next year, thanks AOC !!!
We took 6 kids out on the charter and had the most satisfying day, they caught an abundance of variety of fish which we enjoyed eating for the following days, the crew was amazing helping everyone out but a big thanks to the skipper he was always getting us on the fish, would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Memorable experience! The booking & communications from AOC made this a very easy surprise gift for my husband. He had an absolute blast the entire day. Staff were friendly, helpful and they encouraged each member of the charter group in their skills and experience. My son George aged 9 and I had a full day charter with Captain Scott and his deck hands, it was the best charter we have been on very exciting for George, many different species of fish landed for the day and the lunch provided was excellent.

Had an amazing experience with AOC. We only did the half day but we saw whales on the way out and then caught amazing fish (which they were nice enough to package so we could take it back to Perth). Between the two of us we caught about 8 fish including an amazing coral trout. The crew were attentive and the vessel was great.
Our family of three embarked on this charter from Broome as part of our holiday. It did not disappoint. Amazing crew, great catering and best of all -we nailed the fishing!!!!!!!! Took home a huge haul and we’re still eating it!!!! I can highly recommend.
100% recommend AoC to anyone thinking of going deep sea fishing. The service is professional and top notch and includes pickup/drop off from accommodation, putting you on the fish and cleaning/filleting your catches. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. The boat is spotless clean, very stable with toilet on board so ladies can go on this charter with comfort. I only went on the half day tour as I usually only last half a day before I get really seasick (even with pills) but this time I only burped a couple of time and even am able to enjoy the morning tea and delicious lunch provided. Free flow soft drinks are provided. In between line drops, the skipper did a little trolling which landed us 3 Mackerels and 1 Tuna which are shared among the passengers. Overall, fantastic trip! Next time when I am in Broome, I know exactly which charter I will be going fishing with.
Did a half day fishing trip with AOC – 2 adults and 2 girls17 and 13 years. Had the best time! Highly recommend it, the best way to fish, the team would bait up, help you reel in (race the sharks), fillet the fish etc. The whole family really enjoyed the day, caught some nice fish, had the perfect amount of time and we even saw whales!
Hubby and i thoroughly enjoyed our day fishing on Absolute Charters. I caught my first ever spanish mackerel, and a nice black snapper, along with a few other fish. The skipper and crew were wonderful, and we had the most fantadtic day, thanks guys 🙂
Absolute top time. Went in with literally no knowledge about fishing and came home with some amazing stories and kilograms of fish. Staff friendly and supportive and genuinely seemed to be having a great time really added to a great vibe. Happy to suggest this mob to anyone, even novices (i was with my sister in law even and she had a great time)
I took my fishing mad nephew on the 1 day reef fishing trip, from the moment we were picked up to the moment we were dropped back, the whole day was great. The skipper and crew worked so hard to ensure everyone on board had a wonderful experience. We all caught so many fish, some of them quite large! I couldn’t recommend these guys more highly, they are a wonderful option when you’re in Broome. Afterwards I promptly booked the Sunset Cruise for the rest of the family we all enjoyed that as well, having a marine biologist on board was such a great addition and we saw turtles and dolphins, as well as a history lesson on the region.They are a first class operator.

Pick up form our accom was bang on time, quick to set off, fish were being caught at every location the skipper took us to, the boat was a great size with plenty of room to move about very clean, staff were super fast at baiting and replacing hooks, All staff we also very friendly and approachable, morning tea and lunch platters were fresh and plentiful, no one left without landing a fish or two, and personally we took home enough fish for several lunches and dinners.
Cracking value for money! We’ll be back again for sure!
