Broome Bus Town Tours

Exciting new tour where we’ll bring the ocean to you!

Despite a trip to Broome not being complete without an adventure on the water (yes we are a little biased!), there’s also plenty to check out from the shore. Join us for a unique and all-enthralling town tour of Broome’s famous sites and hear fascinating insights into the marine environment around Broome. Our expert guides will tell tales of days gone by and inform you on life in Broome today.
What’s involved?

While some of your family or travel group may be busy landing their bucket list catch on-board an AOC fishing charter or taking in the sights on one of our amazing eco wildlife cruises, we can take care of you aboard one of our super friendly and relaxed town tours. Our unique land-based tour provides all guests with a fun and easy way to get to know the bustling tourism and pearling town of Broome.

You’ll be collected from your accommodation in our comfortable, air-conditioned bus and whisked away for a sightseeing showcase of our backyard.

The voyage will highlight the beauty and intrigue of Chinatown including Streeter’s Jetty (the only remaining jetty used by the original pearling fleet), a scenic drive past The Mangrove Hotel and famed Matso’s Broome Brewery, enroute to the Town Beach precinct overlooking the tidal wetlands of the Roebuck Bay Marine Park. Time to stretch the legs in the parkland and hear about the Catalina Flying Boat wrecks from WWII that are visible on super low tides as well as the staircase to the moon, a natural phenomenon that occurs over the bay on a full moon.

We’ll then take a short drive to the newly renovated Broome Golf Club (one of only two decent hills in Broome) to soak in the views of the Broome Wharf and Simpsons Beach before heading westward towards Gantheaume Point.

Again, it’s time to hop-off and explore Gantheaume Point, with its vibrant colours and rich history, it is an extraordinary part of Australia’s coastline. The kids will be delighted with the chance to walk in the footsteps of dinosaurs, and the unique lighthouse offers plenty of photo opportunities. Continuing on our journey, we end up at world-renowned Cable Beach. Boasting some of the most magnificent sunsets in the world, Cable Beach is a must-see! You can choose to end your Broome tour here or we’ll drop you back to your accommodation.
